As we await the release of the 11th gen Honda Civic Type R, let’s take a look at the last year of this beasted out commuter car.
The Honda Civic Type R might be based on the Civic, but it’s certainly not “just a Civic.” It defies front-wheel-drive expectations, electric power-steering expectations, has one of the best manual transmissions out there, and it doesn’t give up any of the practicality. Plus, it’s just plain fun.
