the New Nissan Kicks X Play, the first special series with limited edition crossover manufactured in Resende (RJ).
The model is offered in an exclusive combination of two colors: Pearl Diamond White with a red roof. The limited edition name signature is on the door sills, above the nameplate on the trunk lid and on the front seats. On the roof, a black sports airfoil was designed specifically for the novelty. The styling of the back is complemented with stickers on top of the C-pillars.
Also on the outside, a red finish was applied to the mirrors. And, as Nissan usually does in its limited editions, the unit numbering is indicated on the front grille, in an area also in red.
Other exclusives of the New Nissan Kicks X Play are inside. There are several finishing details in red, in places such as the air vents, the base of the steering wheel and the double seams of the dashboard, armrest and seats with a synthetic finish in black and gray.
Among the standard equipment, the New Nissan Kicks X Play comes with items that only it has: wireless cell phone charger, special opening screen that goes back to the limited edition in the Nissan Connect multimedia with 8-inch touchscreen and rim wheels 17 with gloss black finish.
The list of factory items is completed with equipment already established in the Nissan crossover line. Inside, there are items such as: I-Key smart face-to-face key; engine start button; seven-inch instrument panel in high definition images; front seats with zero gravity technology; opening and closing doors and closing windows by remote control; intelligent lighting of the headlights; steering wheel audio, telephone and autopilot controls; electric steering; headlights with Follow me Home system; sunshade with mirrors for driver and passenger; trunk with internal lighting; electrochromic rearview mirror; between others.
For added safety, the New Nissan Kicks X Play comes with six airbags; Unlocked Seat Belt Alert (front and rear); traction and stability controls – (VDC – Vehicle Dynamic Control); daytime driving lights (DTRL); ISOFIX system for child seats; ABS brakes with Electronic Brake Control (EBD) and Brake Assist (BA); Intelligent Ramp Start (HSA) system; automatic central locking of the doors and trunk while the vehicle is in motion, in addition to many other equipment.
The New Nissan Kicks XPlay is equipped with the second generation of the modern 16-valve HR16DE 1.6 engine, which features continuously variable valve opening control (CVVTCS) and Flex Start System (FSS). It develops 114 hp of maximum power at 5,600 rpm and maximum torque of 152 Nm at 4,000 rpm. This engine, also produced at Nissan’s plant in Resende (RJ), guarantees low fuel consumption and surprising performance. With an excellent weight/power ratio and well-used dimensions, the crossover delivers performance comparable to that of its main rivals while offering the best level of fuel consumption in its category.
The transmission is the renowned XTRONIC CVT of the latest generation with Sport mode, which works efficiently thanks to the car’s design, which has the lowest weight in its category and efficient aerodynamics.
Available at all Nissan stores in Brazil, the exclusive special series has a suggested retail price of R$ 122,990.
