The ALL NEW 2023 Mazda CX-60! Mazda’s Most Expensive Car EVER!

Whatsup guys. In this video, we’ll be showing you Mazda’s most expensive car ever, the new 2023 Mazda CX-60! It brings you a new platform along with fresh engine options, as well as being Mazda’s first plug-in hybrid. We think it’s worth the hefty price tag, and here’s why…

The 2023 Mazda CX-60 is finally here, and the Japanese automaker’s most important vehicle in a decade. Why? Well, it basically builds on the immensely popular Mazda CX-5, and now for the very first time, the automaker has produced a plug-in hybrid with the CX-60. And believe it or not, the combined power output from the PHEV system makes this humble crossover the most powerful Mazda in history.

Until recently, Mazda had not shown much interest in electrification, but this is just starting to change. Also, the brand-new 2023 Mazda CX-60 is the automaker’s first plug-in full hybrid SUV to hit the car market. And it is the first of two new cars from the Japanese company’s Large Product group that will be launched.

Moreover, the automaker has made a smart move by developing an electric vehicle in response to the increasing demand for such vehicles all around the globe as well as the growing popularity of electric cars. This new design target is integrated into the SUV’s sturdy front-engine, rear-wheel-drive construction. The Mazda CX-60’s gorgeous appearance exudes the Kodo design’s overwhelming force and cutting-edge brilliance.

Moreover, sitting on Mazda’s new Skyactiv scalable architecture, the all new 2023 CX-60 is the first in a series of longitudinally engined SUVs to move the brand positioning closer to premium rivals. Also, the CX-60 will be more comprehensive and, fans have been told, that it will be styled with American tastes in mind, which means that it should possess more visual presence than the somewhat timid-looking Mazda CX-60, roughly the size of a BMW X3.

Now as far as size is concerned, the all new 2023 Mazda CX-60 is 186.8 inches long, 74.4 inches wide as well as 65.7 inches tall. And this makes it bigger in every direction than the recently launched FWD-CX-50, available only in North America. And as Mazda has with recent all-new model launches, they explain the automaker has gone to great lengths to enhance the new 2023 Mazda CX-60’s refinement, comfort, and dynamic abilities through a range of methods.

The all new 2023 Mazda CX-60 will now be available in three trim levels: Exclusive Line, Homura, as well as the Takumihybrid. Now to start with, the all new 2023 Mazda CX-60 is said to be powered by a new 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine known as the e-Skyactiv, and it also comes standard in all trim levels. Also, the PHEV model of the CX-60 is said to be equipped with a 2.5-liter inline-four engine and also a 100 kW electric motor for a combined 322 horsepower along with 369 pound-feet of torque.

So as a result, it is the Japanese company’s most powerful production vehicle to date. The automaker stated that their new 2023 CX-60 car can go from 0 to 62 mph in just 5.8 seconds and it has a top speed of 124 mph.

Next up the Mi-Drive Mazda system that comes standard on all three grades gives user’s access to five different driving modes. An eight-speed automatic transmission which sends the power to all four wheels and can also be operated through paddle shifters.

In addition, there will be 3.0-liter e-Skyactiv X petrol engines as well as 3.3-liter e-Skyactiv D diesel engines, and both inline six-cylinder units with 48V mild-hybrid aid. Both may be ordered with an AWD or an RWD system. The automaker’s innovative variable compression tech will assist both motors.

The all new 2023 Mazda CX-60 is also the first SUV to be constructed on Mazda’s new platform, which previously was smartly engineered to support both 2WD along with 4WD as well as longitudinal motors, mild hybrids, and fully electric cars. The automaker has also spent time honing the CX-60’s chassis. And it now successfully combines a pleasant ride with a relaxing atmosphere.

And for the floor-mounted 17.8 kWh lithium-ion battery, it offers a 39-mile all-electric range. For the buyer’s convenience, the CX-60 comes with two charging cables: a Type 2 connector for public chargers and untethered wall boxes and a three-pin plug for use with a wall socket at home. Under normal conditions, a full charge with the 7 kW wall box takes less than 2.5 hours. The efficiency numbers also look promising. Meanwhile, it has a WLTP rating of 188 MPG and 33 g/km of CO2 emissions.

Since Mazda is targeting affluent buyers with the CX-60, the BMW X3, Audi Q5, and Mercedes-Benz GLC, Volvo XC60, Lexus RX, and Land Rover Discovery Sport are its main rivals in this segment.
