As the number implies, the CX-70 is a two-row midsize SUV that should fit between the CX-50 and CX-90. For other markets, Mazda has previously debuted the CX-60 (shown here). For the US market, the CX-70 should be a modified model that would provide extra room.
The SUV’s release date has been postponed until 2024, as stated by Tom Donnelly, CEO of Mazda North America, in an interview with Automotive News. It should thus be a 2025 model year car.
