Toyota CEO Just DROPPED Some BAD News For Toyota RAV4 Hybrid!

Hold on to your seatbelts and Calm down, we have news for the RAV4, well those who own the previous model are likely satisfied with it. However, those who are interested in upgrading to the latest and greatest version of this Toyota model and hoping to “Touch the Perfection” may get disappointed. As the CEO of Toyota has some bad news for you! What is it? To answer all your curiosity, TECH ADDICTS is the only place for you! So let’s look into that right away!

Toyota executives have admitted that wait times for the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid – Australia’s most popular SUV and the top-selling petrol-electric car – are now so long that customers at the back of the queue could be rewarded by being among the first to take delivery of the next all-new model in 2024. This admission was made in light of the fact that the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid is the top-selling petrol-electric car in Australia.

The wait times for the most popular models of the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid remain between 18 months to two years; nevertheless, some customers have reported receiving delivery six to 12 months after placing an order after buyers on the waiting list ahead of them withdrew from the agreement.

According to Toyota Australia, the company is still putting in extra hours to try to satisfy the staggering demand for the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid.

Toyota is having trouble keeping up with the demand for one of the most fuel-efficient family SUVs in Australia, despite the fact that manufacturing has increased.

According to Sean Hanley, vice president of sales and marketing for Toyota Australia, “the wait times are as much about demand as they are about production capacity.”

“We are very appreciative to our consumers for their patience since we are aware of the frustration that our customers feel. Please be aware that we are making every effort to provide their replacement car as soon as possible.

To maintain the flow of production on their assembly lines, other automakers, such as Volkswagen, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Peugeot, have eliminated certain high-tech features from their vehicles in order to cut down on the number of semiconductors (computer chips) that are required for each vehicle. Toyota, on the other hand, has made the wise decision not to remove vital safety technology from its vehicles.

The end effect is longer waiting times for Toyota vehicles; nevertheless, once the customer’s new car finally arrives, it will be fully equipped (or better equipped, depending on the situation).

“It’s not easy for us to understand the frustrations that people are feeling right now out there in the world. We get it,” said Mr. Hanley.

“We are doing all in our power to speed up the delivery of cars and are continuously evaluating our procedures,” the company said.

Mr. Hanley responded, “It isthat wait times might drop down because some clients at the head of the queue pull out of their contract.” This was in response to a question about whether or not it was possible for wait times to decrease as a result. It is possible that we will be able to raise our supply, but we want to make sure that our customers’ expectations are realistic. This will depend on what occurs in other markets.

“We are constantly looking into the various ways in which we may improve our allocation. There isn’t a single week that goes by where we don’t try to think of a better way to get these cars to customers quicker and more efficiently… whether it be through better allocations, whether it be through shorter pre-delivery times, or looking at ways to reduce the amount of downtime that occurs in the logistics process.”
