The Crosstrek emphasizes the practical character and sportiness that lend themselves favorably to an active lifestyle. The 220mm ground clearance of all Crosstreks is higher than many SUVs, yet the Crosstrek maintains a comfortably low entry height for front and rear occupants.
The Crosstrek Convenience and Crosstrek Touring versions are powered by the 2.0L SUBARU BOXER 4-cylinder with direct injection that develops 152 hp and 145 lb-ft of torque. The higher Crosstrek Onyx and Crosstrek Limited trims upgrade to the 2.5L SUBARU BOXER engine that boasts an impressive 182 hp and 178 lb-ft of power and torque. All versions are fitted with the Lineartronic CVT (continuously variable) gearbox characterized by its smoothness and quiet operation. It’s over for the manual transmission!
The Crosstrek options catalog includes the infotainment system with an 11.6-inch tablet-like screen for the first time. The high-resolution 11.6-inch touchscreen provides access to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with a full-screen display.
All trims come standard with the revised Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, which offers faster reaction time, delivers more agile handling, and provides better cornering performance both on and off-road. X-MODE with Manually Selectable Hill Descent Control maximizes control on slippery surfaces and steep inclines. The Onyx and Limited versions receive the dual-mode X-MODE function capable of overcoming even more varied conditions.
